Exactly how many children were in the blast is not known. Because many in the madrasa were minors.

"We have obtained forensic evidence that it contained about 5-6 kg of explosives and a time device," said Shafqat Malik, head of the Bomb Disposal Unit.

Seems like a high-quality device.

The injured are being treated at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), the city's main government hospital.

Of the 72 injured patients brought to the hospital (LRH), 6 died.

The attack disrupted normal life in Peshawar. However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
